About the volunteer
A science teacher volunteering brings skills that adapt to each age group. With elementary students, they use the ability to design short, hands-on activities that are interactive and positive. With middle school students, they draw on skills in fostering independence, active listening, and guiding student-driven projects. With high school students, they apply mentoring and coaching skills—offering guidance, sharing subject expertise, and demonstrating respect for students’ maturity.
